• Petro-Canada puts its products – like SENTRON LD 5000 – through rigorous and time-consuming full year field tests.
• We carefully select the engine models used in our field testing to represent the engines you use every day, like the CAT 3512 TA LE and the Waukesha 7042 GSI. This kind of testing takes longer than lab or screen testing, but the outcome is higher-quality, real-life results.
• Petro-Canada has also run a successful field trial in a demanding co-generation application. After the required field trial, which was completed in the Fall of 2005, SENTRON LD 5000 is now recommended by Waukesha Engine Co. for co-generation service, one of the toughest approvals for natural gas engines oils in North America.

That’s why leading engine manufacturers like Caterpillar, Waukesha, Jenbacher, Deutz and Wartsila ask for field tests to evaluate engine oils.
